With this shot of the heron in flight, my camera was out of memory. I headed back to the launch and packed up my boat for the trip back home. It had been such a splendid day that I dawdled around the Haycock mountain area and then went off the beaten track on my way to the city. Proved to be a BIG MISTAKE!
